I'm sitting next to you
building planets around your sun
gravitating to you the way everything else does
and when I recede an arms length
you rope me in again
like stars and moonlight
that all lovers cant get enough of.

And the discerning smiles
laced so carelessly with carefree
pierce like shrapnel shots
a shock therapy i cant get over
just as all those lunatic lovers
that think pain is a painkiller
I'm beginning to think all too loosely.

Could'n you soften the bed of roses
Just as tenderly as the sky lies
And I'll pick the thorns myself
Nevermind the sting of red and ruby
I'll find some way to manage the bleeding
Just as I did,when you asked to let go.
