For a hundred stars,galaxies and hearts
Celestial bodies giving in so easily
To you and your smiles.
Damn if I never told you enough
Or made it seem like I'd always sway
To the fringes of other hearts,
But the eyes are made heavy
When I find emotions play chase
With my words and thoughts
And all that comes out are bloody greetings
That seem like a fingertip brushing
The faintest trace of a sky
And I'll never find the alcoves
That hide such a furtive heart.
